Pamper, Pamper, Pamper

....that was the order of the day at January meeting.  We were joined by some lovely ladies who work or have experience in different beauty or holistic therapies.  Our lovely Belles were able to have a bit of me time and learn how to give a wonderful hand massage, head massage, have their nails done, find out what sugaring involves.  We certainly left there feeling fully relaxed and ready to face the cold weather that we had been experiencing that week.  There were also some fantastic homemade face masks that people could try out.....ground oats mixed with honey and a little water spread on the face for 10mins.  It did leave the skin feeling silky smooth, even if we did look a bit like shrek in the process....the lights had a funny effect!!!

Join us for our next meeting on February 20th where we'll be having a personal safety talk.

August 2012 Meeting - Heritage Trail Walk

What a wonderful and fascinating meeting this was. Our thanks must go to the excellent and knowledgeable Bingham Heritage Trail Association for an excellent guided walk around the village.

We split up into three groups and looked at some of the beautiful and fascinating buildings and features around Bingham. There was so much to learn and it felt like taking a step back in time to how people used to live in the village through the ages.

It was well received by all and we finished the night with a drink at a local pub.

JULY MEETING- -RECIPE SHARE

It seems an age ago now, but our last meeting back in July was a  great success with lots of lovely recipes and food to share.  There was a great selection of food, from savoury to sweet, old passed down recipes and new creations, some lovely food from local shops to try and some great tipples.  I think I can say everyone left feeling very full and satisfied and with ideas for new things to try themselves.  We also collected in all the recipes and are planning on putting them together for a recipe booklet that we could sell for to raise funds for the Bingham Belles.  Photos to follow shortly....
